Ft. Bend Stars Basketball

The Ft. Bends Stars Youth Basketball Association is a non profit organization dedicated to kids. Located in Ft. Bend County, the Ft. Bend Stars offers basketball training to girls ages 5-18. Education, fundamentals and discipline are our top priorities. The Ft. Bend Stars is committed to developing the student athlete. In addition to basketball, student athletes also participate in community service projects. The Ft. Bend Stars is a member of AAU and YBOA associations and follows the rules of these associations as well as the Ft. Bend Stars Rules and Regulations. Although we are located in Ft. Bend County, we accept athletes from surrounding counties. Founded in 1999, the Association started out with two boys teams in the 16U division. Today, we have 6 competitive girls teams as well as 4 competitive boys teams in addition to a developmental program for both boys and girls starting from ages 8-14.  The Ft. Bend Stars has continued to enjoy steady growth with much success.  In 2007, the Ft. Bend Stars 11U and Jr. Eligible Teams placed 2nd in the Primetime National Tournament held in the Dallas, Texas area.  The Ft. Bend Stars is run by an all volunteer staff giving many hours of their personal time to the athletes and the Association. Tryouts are held the second and third week in February of each year. Please contact FBS or check the website for locations and time.
